Frequently Asked Legal Questions

The questions below cover the legal topics we hear about most — from data rights and account closure to jurisdiction eligibility and how to contest a decision. Read through before reaching out; most answers are here.

These terms apply to any person who creates or uses a 3js account where local law permits. Access and eligibility depend on the laws of your specific state or territory in India. If local law prohibits access, these terms do not grant any right to use the platform.

Yes. Send a data-access request to our legal email address with your registered account email and a brief description of what you need. We will verify your identity and provide your data within 30 days in a readable format.

Submit a deletion request to the legal email address. We will remove personal identifiers from active systems within 30 days. Some transactional records must be retained for up to seven years under applicable financial regulations, and those are anonymised rather than deleted.

After account closure, we retain your transactional and identity data for up to seven years as required by financial record-keeping obligations under Indian law. During that period the data is not used for marketing and is accessible only to our compliance and legal teams.

Any dispute must first go through our internal resolution process — contact the legal team by email with full details. We aim to respond within five business days. If the matter is not resolved internally, the terms specify the applicable governing law and jurisdiction.

Your data file will include transaction records such as deposit timestamps, amounts and payment method type. We do not store your UPI PIN, Paytm passcode or PhonePe credentials — those are held entirely by your respective payment provider.

We update these terms when regulations change or our services evolve. The effective date at the top of each policy reflects the current version. We notify account holders of material changes by email at least 14 days before the update takes effect.
